The goal of LYRIC (Learn your Rights in Colorado) is to teach youth about their Constitutional rights. Our programing aims to bring the law to life for juveniles in schools, juvenile justice facilities and community settings. Through its philosophy and programing LYRIC aims to empower young people to become active and knowledgeable citizens. Each LYRIC program strives to educate young people on the law, and how through knowledge they can affect their life and society at large. LYRIC teaches a basic “Know Your Rights” curriculum as well as “Let’s Work it Out” a curriculum aimed at addressing conflict, violence and restorative justice in our communities.
