Animal Helper is a non-profit 501(c)(3) all volunteer rescue organization serving the Greater New Orleans area. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals at high risk due to their circumstances. Our rescues are placed in loving foster homes and provided exceptional veterinary care for duration of their recovery to a completely healthy condition which includes their mandatory spay or neuter. We then seek to placement our rescues in their forever homes through a comprehensive process which includes a written application, personal interviews, veterinary references, home visits, and follow up on all aspects of the animal’s well-being and integration into the family. We adopt for life and request any Animal Helper rescue be returned to us in the event their family can no longer provide care for them
