Saving Sunny, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization dedicated to a building a more compassionate community for animals and their humans.

Saving Sunny, Inc. exists to reduce the flow of Pit Bull Terrier dogs into shelters and to advocate for equal treatment and social justice for Pit Bull Terrier dogs. Saving Sunny, Inc. works to achieve these goals by assisting dog owners of all breed types in underserved areas with free food and other resources needed to care for their pets including in-home behavior support, access and transportation to free and low-cost spay/neuter services, basic veterinary care, grief support, and more. Saving Sunny believes that by assisting all breeds of dogs and their owners, we are achieving a more compassionate environment for our favorite block headed dogs. In addition, Saving Sunny hosts Pit Bull-positive community events, media relations, school visits and other myth-breaking activities in the Louisville Metro area.
