Sweet Dream House Rescue saves the dogs and cats other rescues have left behind in shelters—the old, the sick, the fearful, the large, the handicapped, and the emotionally damaged—and gives them new lives. We are a 501c(3), no-kill rescue organization based in the greater Cincinnati area and dedicated to rehoming as many animals from shelters as we can. This year already we have pulled hundreds of dogs from Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee and North Carolina shelters, and a smaller number of cats. We have both fosters and a 40-dog/15 cat facility, because euthanasia lists show no mercy in giving us time to find foster homes for all the pets who won’t live until tomorrow. Our philosophy is that every pet has the right family out there waiting.

Sweet Dream House would love to go out of business. We wish Midwestern shelters weren’t overflowing with unwanted, neglected, abused, and sick animals, but the fact is they are.
