The Tarrant Literacy Coalition works with community and faith based programs to improve the quality of adult and family literacy programs through education, collaboration and advocacy. The Coalition offers instruction and support for adult learners who are preparing for the Certificate of High School Equivalency and oversees programs that provide English Language Acquisition and Citizenship classes for refugees and immigrants. The Coalition also operates the Literacy Help Line to assist adults who are looking for educational opportunities in Tarrant County and surrounding areas in the Fort Worth/Dallas Metroplex.
