CT Women of HOPE knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. In 2004, upon her diagnosis, our president, and founder, Joanne Nesbitt, realized that there were no resources at that time and no organizations to speak with. "I made a promise from that day that I would advocate for women to help educate and bring awareness". In 2012, realizing that by working together as volunteers, we could overcome so many challenges much more efficiently, and help so many women diagnosed with ovarian cancer, we launched CT Women of HOPE. Our Women Empowerment Non-Profit Organization is here to be with you. We want you to know that we too are caretakers, survivors and fighters. You do not have to go through your journey with ovarian cancer alone. CT Women of Hope is here to answer your questions and link you with valuable resources in your community.
