By partnering with local financial institutions and government, Justine PETERSEN offers a variety of financial tools and service to help low and moderate income individuals and families achieve their personal financial goals. We do this through:

o Credit Building and Financial Education

o Homeownership Preparation and Retention

o Micro-enterprise lending and training; and

o Enhanced savings plan, e.g., Individual Development Accounts (IDAs)

Justine PETERSEN is a nonprofit organization that connects low and moderate income individuals with the tools they need to access safe and affordable credit to fully realize their personal goals and dreams. Based in St. Louis, the organization provides comprehensive micro-enterprise lending and training, as well as homeownership preparation and retention. Justine PETERSEN helps unbanked and underbanked individuals establish strong credit profiles so they can graduate to mainstream financial services and create better lives for themselves and their families. The organization has helped thousands of low-wage individuals achieve life-changing goals since it was founded in 1997, in honor of the late Justine M. Petersen, a pioneer in community reinvestment in St. Louis.
