Pain Connection is a nonprofit organization that helps people with chronic pain and their families to improve their quality of life.
The services we provide are:

Free Support Groups:
Run by mental health professionals who help people with chronic pain develop coping skills though assertiveness training, guided imagery, meditation and relaxation.

Free Live Conference Calling:
Support group over the telephone for people worldwide. Conference Calls are held twice a month per given topic.

Speaker Series:
Provides an opportunity for community members to learn about chronic pain management. Speakers include health care professionals (psychiatrists, neurologists, osteopaths, chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, and physical therapists. Other speakers include yoga, mediation, and biofeedback instructors, as well as workman's compensation lawyers.

The Pain Warriors Project:
Provides active duty military and veterans with confidential support, and services. The Pain Warriors Live Conference Calls encourages fellow warriors to exchange experiences, listen to professionals, and develop coping skills. The 8 week program seeks to educate, and teach coping skills to warriors and veterans with chronic pain. Families and significant others are encouraged to participate.

Special Classes:
Gentle movement, biofeedback, mindfulness meditation, aromatherapy, and herbal remedies.

Navigation, Referrals, and Peer-to-Peer Support::
Matching people who are newly diagnosed with chronic pain with professionals, healthcare providers, specialists, and experienced others,
Pain Connection offers a variety of programs and services geared to patients, their families, and health providers.
Our mission is to help those with chronic pain take an active role in their pain management, and decrease their sense of isolation.
