Providing outdoor recreation for veterans

Our priority is to help our Disabled Veteran’s adjust back to as a normal life as can be expected through a positive outdoor experience, fishing, hunting and a campfire. We provide a safe outdoor experience with other veterans to help promote healing and closure all at no cost to our veterans.

English River Outfitters Resort is designed with our veterans in mind, some paid the ultimate sacrifice and others return with a disability. If Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom stand for anything, they stand for freedom and democracy. Protection against terrorism, oppression and tyranny can never be repaid.

It is our goal at English River Outfitters Resort to offer all of our veterans, Past, present and future; Korean, Viet Nam, Granada, Somalia, Operation Just Cause (Panama), Operation Desert Shield/Storm and Operation’s OIF/OEF a solitude outdoor recreational resort at no cost to them where our veterans can Camp, Fish, Hunt and enjoy a campfire in an enjoyable relaxing atmosphere. English River Outfitters Resort will be a safe secure resort where our veterans can realize their strengths and independence.

MISSION STATEMENT

English River Outfitters Resort is a Veterans Resort designed “With Veterans in mind”. We are a resort that will give a memorable outdoor recreation experience for the disabled veteran, veterans, their families, friends and supporters: It recognizes what our Veterans have contributed to and sacrificed for our Nation.

OBJECTIVE

• To provide veterans a retreat where they can relax and talk about past experiences
• To provide veterans a place they can fish and hunt
• Offer hunting and fishing packages to all veterans with an emphasis on the disabled vet
• Offer counseling if the vet needs and wants it
• Be a support group for each other
