"A Place To Bark" is a 501c3 Registered Non Profit Animal Rescue. Dedicated To Saving The Lives Of Homeless Pets From High Kill Animal Controls.
Established in 2001, A Place to Bark is a no-kill, foster, rehabilitation & adoption rescue that saves animals from high kill animal controls, puppy mills & cruelty cases. We care for them until they are healthy, socialized, and ready for adoption. We then transports them to various partnering shelters & adoption programs, so these animals can find their forever homes. A Place to Bark has saved over 3,000 lives in the past 7 years.
A Place to Bark is a non-profit, charitable organization. Our rescue operates soley on donations, & receives no Government assistance. We are their safety net & will always take them back into our program for whatever reason. I quarantine, train, provide medical care, rehab, drive & drive & drive & drive, wherever they need to go, to find them life, adopters & forever homes!
A Place To Bark is about the long term save, not just the initial save. They depend on us & we must take responsibility for their lives... Till the day there are no more homeless pets, we must come together for the animals and the greater good! Our hope is to create the model program, by following the standards to which a no kill nation becomes a reality. Till there are no more homeless pets!!! Coming soon!!! www.arevolutionforlife.com
A PLACE TO BARK is a no kill animal rescue dedicated to Saving the Lives of Homeless Pets.
We work with Animal Control Agencies, rescuing animals from high kill shelters, providing veterinary care, rehabilitation and whatever it takes to get these precious animals adopted. We partner with Humane Societies in various parts of the country to move the masses of homeless pets into adoption programs. We cover all costs for the medical care of the animals with no cost to the Humane Societies. We also handle some private adoptions after a strict screening process.
OUR MISSION:
A PLACE TO BARK'S mission is to provide assistance and care to animals in need. Working together with other animal welfare agencies, uniting & each doing our part to create a win/win situation for every adoptable animal that comes into our program.
We are a new shelter concept, tackling an old problem. A Place To Bark is a temporary home, a foster facility that provides quarantine, full vet care, rehab & training to help adoptable animals further in the adoption process. All animals rescued are spay/neutered to reduce the future population & by saving existing lives, our program encompasses all vital actions needed to benefit the pets in need.
