ABOUT UNITED STATES TENT PEGGING FEDERATION (USTPF)

The United States Tent Pegging Federation, Inc. (USTPF) a not for profit 501(c)(3) organization helping those horses, which are rejecting for any specific equestrian sport and provide opportunity for their training for a rising sport called "Tent Pegging" in the USA.

In order to demonstrate the actual "Tent Pegging" the USTPF has planned to organize an international Tent Pegging Event in the second week of September 2017.

In this event the five guest countries and VIPs will be invited from the USA such as the president of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), president of the US Olympic Committee (USOC), President of US Polo Association (USPA) and the leaders of International Equestrian Organizations such as the president of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI).

The USTPF's mission is to help and save the horses from slaughtering, which are rejected from Polo, Roping and Team Pegging or any other equestrian sport that require a speed and stamina of the horse for the specific sport. Many horses fail to a sudden stop (Specific to Polo, Roping and Team Penning) and the owners spent enormous amount of money for their horse training and at the end it is found that horse does not like to sport and react strange of become unsafe for the rider.

This is where the USTPF enters the seen and accept the horse to train and use for Tent Pegging. In this equestrian sport the horse is used for a straight run from start to end total 80 meters but given 160 meters extra distance for the safe stop. Therefore, all those horse are rejected because of their unsafe stop or the horse doesn't stop when desired, here the Tent Pegger employ the horse for Tent Pegging and give enough distance and control the speed of the horse with available extra 160 meters.

The sport Tent Pegging provides entertainment, skill and fun for the rider and equine.
