Partners for Development (PFD) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Silver Spring, MD. PFD words to improve the lives of vulnerable and impoverished people around the world by implementing projects to address health, including HIV/AIDS and tropical diseases, food security and agriculture, and small enterprise development and microfinance, among other strategies. PFD's central criterion for assistance is need, without regard to race, religion, age, sex, or ethnic group. Additionally, all PFD projects incorporate local partners in the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs to the greatest degree possible.
PFD's mission is to work with VULNERABLE and UNDERSERVED populations in developing countries to improve QUALITY OF LIFE.
