Sea Turtle Conservancy (STC) is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization based in Florida with offices and projects in several other locations. STC is the oldest and most accomplished sea turtle conservation organization in the world. Since its founding in 1959, STC's work has greatly improved the survival outlook for several species of sea turtles.
It is the mission of the Sea Turtle Conservancy to ensure the survival of sea turtles within the Wider Caribbean basin and Atlantic through research, education, training, advocacy and the protection of the natural habitats upon which they depend.
