Our Military Kids, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides grants to children 5 years of age through the 12th grade of deployed National Guard and Reserve personnel and children of all Wounded Warriors.

Approximately 100,000 children are affected by the deployment of a National Guard or Reserve parent. When a military parent deploys overseas, extracurricular activities become all the more important for keeping kids involved and on track. Unfortunately, it is often difficult for these children to play on school or community sports teams, participate in local music or dance programs, or get tutoring to help them stay on grade level because fees for these activities can be prohibitive. Our Military Kids enables Guard and Reserve children to participate in any extracurricular program they choose, giving children the freedom to pursue their own interests in athletics, academics, or the arts in the community in which they live.

Our Military Kids provides substantial support in the form of grants to the children of deployed National Guard and Military Reserve personnel, as well as to the children of Wounded Warriors in all branches. The grants pay for participation in activities (sports, fine arts, camps) and tutoring programs that nurture and sustain children while a parent is away in service to our country or recovering from injury.
