To provide care, shelter, and medical attention for strays, abandoned and unwanted animals.
To place homeless animals in loving homes through our adoption process.
To educate and encourage the community to spay and neuter their pets, thereby reducing the number of unwanted animals.
To promote "Kindness to Animals" education in our local schools.
To prevent cruelty to animals and ultimately reduce the number of euthanized cats and dogs in Lafayette.

We have many, many cats and dogs, puppies and kittens available for adoption to good, loving homes. Our animals are all spayed or neutered, they have received all necessary veterinary care and are up-to-date on all their shots. We know each of our cats and dogs very well and can help you find a new pet who fits right in with your family and lifestyle. Please visit our adoption pages to learn more about our pets, and visit our shelter in person to meet them!

We always need volunteers to help us with our dogs and cats, and now more than ever. From hands-on work with the animals at our shelter, to driving a cat to a vet appointment; from shopping for supplies to playing with and socializing our puppies; from fostering a kitten in your home to taking a dog for a walk once in a while - we have many volunteer opportunities. Whether you can spare an hour, a month, or a few hours a week, WE NEED YOU! Visit our website to fill out your volunteer form and you will here back from us shortly after!
