Promote awareness of the Lymphedema Treatment Act in U.S. Congress. The Lymphedema Act will improve coverage for the treatment of lymphedema from any cause. The "Lymphedema Treatment Act” is a federal bill that will amend Medicare statute to provide for coverage of the compression supplies used in the treatment of lymphedema. Although this legislation relates specifically to a change in Medicare law, it would set a precedent for Medicaid and private insurers to follow.
