ABOUT KENTUCKY ASSOCIATION OF FOOD BANKS

We work to end hunger by providing healthy food, mobilizing the public to fight hunger, advocating for good policy, & building partnerships.

The Kentucky Association of Food Banks was formed in 2001 to provide food and quality services to increase the capacity of Kentucky’s Feeding America food banks to end hunger. The Association is comprised of seven food banks that reach all 120 counties of Kentucky and serve an estimated 1 in 7 of all Kentuckians annually. Last year our members distributed 50.9 million pounds of food and grocery products to over 1,000 charitable feeding agencies in Kentucky, including pantries, soup kitchens and shelters.

Our mission is to provide food and quality services to increase the capacity of Kentucky’s Feeding America food banks to end hunger.
