The Lonestar Charity works to support the Vogel Alcove to create and inspire a lasting legacy for education and caring in the Dallas community.
America's at-risk youth perpetually suffer from the lack of resources at school. The Vogel Alcove's goal is to help stabilize the fluctuating lives of the homeless families in the Dallas community. The Vogel has played the role of primary caretaker for over 20,000 children whom have been through the program. The Alcove nurtures, educates, and feeds children from infancy through early adolescence. Their goal is to give these children a safe environment to grow physically and intellectually. By taking care of homeless parent's children the Vogel provides parents with the opportunity of having time to seek jobs. This is crucial for homeless parents whom are attempting to better the lives of themselves and their children.

The Alcove's child development services is for Dallas’ youngest victims of poverty. It’s the only free comprehensive early childhood education program in Dallas whose primary focus is to provide free childcare and case management for children and their families. The Vogel has recently decided it will be building a school for these children. The school will be the foundation of these children's intellectual development. It will be the much needed retreat from the hazards of homeless life for these children. The Vogel is currently struggling to raise enough money to build a gymnasium for these children to play.

At The Lonestar Charity Two-Step it is our goal to help build this gymnasium for these children. We believe that physical exercise is a key for intellectual success. Daily physical exercise is crucial to these children's development. It will encourage them to release energy and stress which will encourage them to return to the classroom more eager to learn. Our Inaugural Event’s goal is to raise $100,000 dollars to build this gymnasium for these children who are so desperately in need. Help us create and inspire a lasting legacy for fitness and caring, in the Dallas community. We hope that this event will become a tradition in the Dallas community, and that we have the opportunity annually do our part to help these families.
